Advanced Manufacturing Award

2008 Winner:  Sheldon Vaughan

Sydney man Sheldon Vaughan first found a passion for design while studying at high school, where he achieved the highest accolade in New South Wales while completing the Higher School Certificate in 1991 for Industrial Technology, which placed him first in a field of 5,000 students. Sheldon went on to complete tertiary studies in Industrial Design at the Univerity of Canberra, graduating in 1996. He began his professional design carreer in a Sydney point of puchase display, design and manufacturing company, before moving to Europe to further his design career. In 2004, he receievd the Gold Award for his design of a plastic metal fabricated point of purchase display, which was ranked among the top 25 displays in Europe.

In 2008 the award was proundly sponsored by Advanced Manufacturing Services and we were very pleased to award Sheldon Vaughan.
